Alongside his work as a 'live' performer, Jack is also a passionate songwriter and recording artist. From the release of his debut EP in 2011, to his most recent original work, the sound of the 1950's/60's has been a major influence on his music.

He has made appearances on many local radio shows and performances at festivals over the last ten years, promoting his original music, as well as being invited to play The International Pop Overthrow Festival at The Cavern Club in Liverpool in 2018, 2019 and 2025.

Alongside the release of his solo music, Jack has been involved with other musical projects such as The Velvet Beat, The Jack Bartlett Band and currently, The Strydes.
